Strict Refund Policy

Please read this policy carefully before purchasing any ticket on MpumaTickets. By buying a ticket, you agree to this refund policy.

All ticket sales are final. MpumaTickets does not guarantee refunds once a ticket has been successfully purchased, generated, reserved, or issued.

1. No Refunds After Purchase

Once a ticket has been purchased, confirmed, generated, or issued through MpumaTickets, the sale is considered final. Refunds will not be granted because of personal changes, transport problems, arriving late, forgetting the event, buying the wrong ticket, or deciding not to attend.

2. Event Organizer Responsibility

MpumaTickets is a ticketing platform. Events are hosted and managed by independent event organizers. The event organizer is responsible for the event, venue, lineup, schedule, entry rules, and refund decisions.

MpumaTickets may assist with communication, but the final decision on refunds belongs to the organizer unless stated otherwise in writing.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

  • You bought the wrong ticket type.
  • You entered incorrect personal details.
  • You cannot attend the event anymore.
  • You arrive late or are denied entry because of your own conduct.
  • You fail to bring your ticket or QR code.
  • You lose access to your email, phone, or ticket screenshot.
  • You are removed from the event for breaking venue or organizer rules.
  • Weather changes, unless the organizer officially cancels the event.

4. Cancelled Events

If an event is officially cancelled by the organizer, refund handling will depend on the organizer’s instruction. Processing fees, service fees, banking fees, and platform fees may be non-refundable.

5. Postponed or Rescheduled Events

If an event is postponed or rescheduled, your ticket may remain valid for the new date. A refund will not automatically be issued unless the organizer confirms that refunds are allowed.

6. Duplicate Purchases

Duplicate purchases are not automatically refundable. If you believe you purchased the same ticket twice by mistake, you must contact support immediately. MpumaTickets and the organizer will review the matter, but approval is not guaranteed.

7. Refund Request Deadline

Any refund request must be submitted within 24 hours of purchase and before the event starts. Requests submitted after the event has started or ended will not be considered.

8. Processing Time

If a refund is approved, processing may take 7 to 14 business days, depending on the payment provider, bank, and organizer approval process.

9. Service Fees

MpumaTickets service fees, payment gateway fees, banking charges, and administrative fees are generally non-refundable.

10. Fraud, Abuse & Chargebacks

MpumaTickets reserves the right to block users, cancel suspicious tickets, reject refund requests, and report fraudulent activity. Unfair chargebacks may lead to account restrictions or ticket cancellation.
